Fried Bettine goat's cheese dip in spicy tomato sauce

Tomato sauce:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 100 ml of tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes
  • 100 grams Bettine ripened goat cheese in slices
  • Coarsely chopped parsley for garnish

Muna from tothemoen came up with this delicious recipe for us. It is easy to prepare and the end result is very tasty. Nice to dip with flat bread or baguette.

Preheat the oven in grill setting to 220C.

Make the tomato sauce by cooking all ingredients (except the Bettine ripened goat cheese) over medium heat for 15 minutes.

Pour the tomato sauce into an oven dish and place the slices of ripened goat cheese on top.

Grill in the oven for 10 minutes until the goat cheese is golden brown in color.

Garnish with the coarsely chopped parsley.
