  • 6 teaspoons of strawberry or fig jam
  • fresh thyme

These delicious mini tartlets with sweet figs and Bettine goat's cheese are nice to serve for Christmas dinner or during another festive occasion. Figs are a delicious ingredient for autumn and winter. The tartlets are quick to prepare in the oven and require little preparation. The best is when they are still lukewarm, because then the goat's cheese is still nice and soft. There is always a reason for a party with these tartlets!

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Cut the puff pastry into four equal squares. Press these into the baking tins lined with baking paper. Crumble the goat’s cheese into pieces and fill the puff pastry with it.

Put a teaspoon of jam everywhere and spread it over the goat’s cheese. Cut the fresh figs into nice half slices and place them in a circle on the goat’s cheese so that it is nicely covered. Crumble some more goat's cheese over the figs and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Now put the fig tartlets with goat’s cheese in the oven for about 20 minutes until the puff pastry is cooked and turns nice golden brown. Remove the tartlets from the oven. Then unzip the thyme from the sprigs and sprinkle it over the fig tartlets. Chop the almonds and spread some pieces over the tartlets.
