Keep it easy with these simple but super-tasty recipe. This fig chutney on toast is just perfect for a fun and indulgent snack or appetizer that you can make again and again.

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan bake. Spread a layer of fig chutney on a piece of French bread (or use pre-cut party bread). Cut the ripened Bettine goat's cheese in slices and place this on the French bread with fig chutney. Place the baguette slices in the oven (about 200 degrees) and fry them in 2 to 3 minutes until they have a deep golden colour. The bread is crispy and the goat's cheese warm and soft. Then garnish with some Cress, chives or alfalfa.
